Greenville, SC -March 12, 2008- The James C. White Company, Inc. is re-releasing Unit-Header® manifolds for air, liquid, and gas after selling them by word-of-mouth alone for twenty years. Unit Headers are one-piece manifolds manufactured from aluminum extrusions, can have one or two tap lines, and are capable of a working pressure of up to 150 psi. The revamped Unit Header product line offers three categories of manifolds to meet a wide range of industry needs.
Available in 1-inch and 2-inch IPS diameters, Unit Headers are manufactured from aluminum extrusion 6005-T5. The extrusion is shaped with two internal ribs along the entire length of the header allowing full thread depth and accurate and secure taps along both tap lines. Unit Headers are offered with one piece construction in lengths up to 240 inches (longer lengths can be coupled). A smooth interior finish (free from pipe scale, solder lumps, or weld spatter) ensures clean fluid flow and easy maintenance.
Unit Headers are offered in three categories to speed the ordering process for most customers while still allowing a full range of options for special situations.
o Stock Unit Headers offer 13 of the most popular lengths and tap configurations of headers, but trade some flexibility for quick manufacturing and delivery. o Specified Unit Headers allow the customer to specify tap number and spacing. o Custom Unit Headers allow the customer to fully define the header, including irregular or uneven spacing and various tap sizes on each of the two tap lines.
