(847) 839-8105 SCHAUMBURG, June 26, 2006 - Enshu's highly successful JE80S horizontal machining center will be making an encore performance at International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2006, September 6-13 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois. The JE80S was introduced in October 2003 as the fastest, largest and quickest 40 taper horizontal machining center with a ballscrew drive system. With close to 3 years of 24/7 production, JE80S customers have experienced typical Enshu "bulletproof" reliability! The JE80S has a 31.5" work cube and 15,000 RPM - 29.5 HP temperature controlled spindle. The dual range integral spindle develops 24.8 HP at just 1,060 RPM and has proven itself in stainless, tool steel and light metal applications.
The JE80S features 3,543 IPM rapids with 1G acc & dec and can consistently circular interpolate bores to 5ì (.0002") roundness. Positioning accuracy is within an astounding 0.000080" over full travel with repeatability of ± 0.000040". Enshu USA Corporation is a wholly owned subsidiary of Enshu Limited, Hamamatsu, Japan.
