Out of a need to fill a void in the classic car restoration market for preformed tubing products, Paul and Lauren Fix founded Classic Tube in 1989. The product line included replacement tubing for brake, fuel, transmission and carburetor applications. The request for tubing grew, and soon they had built a catalog of thousands of patterns that spanned from the 1930’s to the present, for Cars and Trucks both Domestic and Foreign.
Serving the Classic Car industry has given Classic Tube the privilege of supplying products to some of the most renowned restorers and collectors worldwide. “Having great customers has led Classic Tube to achieve 25 years of success by helping customers restore their pride and joy. We also have the satisfaction of knowing our products are on some of the world’s most rare and desirable collector cars.” said Paul, CEO/President.
As more product lines developed, they added the Do-It-Yourself tools and materials for customers to fabricate tubing. Classic Tube also developed the StopFlex product line of D.O.T. Stainless Steel Braided Brake Hoses. These are manufactured as direct replacement brake hoses with factory ends and attaching brackets.
Their worldwide headquarters is based in Lancaster NY, with distributors located around the world. A large dealer network and direct sales provide customers with the product they expect.
To achieve results that surpass industry standards they utilize computerized tube bending equipment along with CMM scanning.
