New Facility Provides Additional Tier One, Two and Three Support for Worldwide Customer Base

SEATTLE, Oct. 7 - Isilon® (Nasdaq: ISLN) today announced it has expanded its global services operations with a new facility in Minneapolis, MN, providing additional tier one, two and three support for its worldwide customer base. In combination with Isilon's existing support center in Seattle, WA and services provided by Isilon's customer support partner Unisys, the new facility delivers comprehensive customer support and a second, 24x7x365 call center to ensure the highest levels of customer service and response.

"As we continue to witness increasing enterprise demand for our scale-out storage solutions, expanding our global services infrastructure in parallel is critical to providing world-class support," said Bill Wolak, vice president of global services, Isilon. "This new facility represents Isilon's commitment to serving our customers around the clock and across the globe."

With the expansion of its global services infrastructure, Isilon is providing its customers with robust support capabilities and access to live, highly-trained and immediately available support personnel, ensuring its customers can maximize their investment in Isilon scale-out storage.

Isilon's unified scale-out storage solutions, powered by the OneFS® operating system, consolidate file and block applications onto a single, shared storage resource and point of management, simplifying data management to increase IT efficiency and reduce costs. Isilon is currently hiring for support personnel in both Seattle and Minneapolis. More information can be found here.

About Isilon

As a global leader in scale-out storage,Isilon delivers powerful yet simple solutions for enterprises that want to manage their data, not their storage. Isilon's products are simple to install, manage and scale, at any size. And, unlike traditional enterprise storage, Isilon stays simple no matter how much storage is added, how much performance is required or how business needs change in the future. We're challenging enterprises to think differently about their storage, because when they do, they'll recognize there's a better, simpler way. Learn what we mean at http://www.isilon.com.
