Ipsen U Delivers Heat Treating Expertise to More Than 150 Customers


CHERRY VALLEY, IL - The success of Ipsen U has grown substantially this year. With still two more courses scheduled, therehave already been 153 people in attendance. This shows a 34% increase from 2011, which totaled 114 participants from all courses.

Not only have Ipsen U's attendance numbers expanded, but its outreach as well with two Ipsen U courses hosted in Mexico in May, 2012. Additionally, an automotive manufacturing customer requested a custom Ipsen U, which was held at its facility in Indianapolis.

Using practical, hands-on training, Ipsen U enables customers and employees alike to immerse themselves in an educational experience designed to build and develop participants' heat-treat knowledge. The most recent course was held June 5-7, 2012 at the Cherry Valley, Ill. facility.

Participants agreed the course was "most helpful [in communicating] details regarding possible problems and how to deal with them" and that many participants coming into the class unfamiliar with the industry or whose company was operating a furnace for the first time felt it "was very informative" and "a perfect mixture of theory and field experience."
