The 100th sold milestone was achieved with the recent vertical TITAN sale to Tamayakin Co., Ltd. in Tokyo, Japan. The furnace will be installed by Ipsen Japan and will be used for heat treating Aerospace components. After developing and producing heat treatment products for over 60 years, Ipsen attributes the TITAN's success to its ability to meet the needs of a wide-range of heat treatment customers. Though launching a new product line as the market was contracting was a risky move, the idea was to streamline the process to reduce cost and delivery time, while maintaining Ipsen-quality workmanship. The goal was to expand the product's market and, by also including a collection of the most common options, reach companies that hadn't considered in-house heat treating in the past due to cost or space limitations.
