Austin, TX.- Gray Electronics announces IS-250 EXPANDED. IS-250 EXPANDED is a system that "intelligently selects" and communicates (12) Twelve Digital Alarm Data Signals VIA a Network Internet Alarm Communicator to Grays Central Station, in San Antonio, TX, for Monitoring, 24 hours every day, 7 days every week, from any location Worldwide via the internet. The EXPANDED OPTION increases the number of zones from (4) four zones to (12) Twelve zones!
Gray Electronics' IS-250 is built around a UL APPROVED HIGH GRADE Encrypted Security, LAN, WAN, Internet Network Alarm Communicator Board, and has Battery Backed up Power, and housed in its own lockable enclosure.
UL approved, 128 bit encrypted, POLLING between IS-250s IP Address on a LAN/WAN/Internet TCP/IP Network, ISP OR a Satellite Uplink ISP like Wild Blue(TM) and Gray Electronics' Central Station, monitor the connection such that a failure of the network link shall be detected in less than 200 seconds at the Central Station. Our Central Station will send emails or text messaging to appropriate personnel who can respond to the malfunction.
All our customers need is an Internet IP Address on their TCP/IP Network or Satellite ISP provider. Their Routers must allow Port Forwarding to the assigned IP Address which allows Gray Electronics to Service the IS-250 via the Internet, as needed. Notice: If a Satellite Uplink ISP is utilized, large TCP/IP Network Server and Routers systems are NOT needed and connections can be established form virtually anywhere in the USA NOW, and the World, eventually. Power Companies that provide electricity to America may monitor their Electric Power Grid for Failure via IS-250 power detection circuitry which generates Alarms (w/15 second delay). Buildings with NFPA Fire Sprinkler systems can monitor the systems TAMPER & FLOW switches and generate Alarms that are communicated to Central Station. Grays Central Station will generate e-mails or Cellular Text Messaging, automatically, within 15 SECONDS to the appropriate authorities.
Multiple IS-250s' may be installed throughout a LAN/WAN/Internet Network or Satellite Uplink ISP to insure Electrical power or NFPA approved Fire related Alarm Conditions for each IP Address or location, are monitored.
