Fargo, ND - Intelligent InSites, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise real-time location systems (RTLS) software helping hospitals improve patient satisfaction and operational performance while supporting multiple RFID and RTLS technologies, has announced an integration of the InSites RTLS solution with Fetch(TM) real-time locating technology from TempSys.

According to Yuan, after carefully studying and evaluating available technologies that ranged from utilizing 802.11 Wi-Fi to Infrared to ZigBee standards, TempSys designed a solution based upon their proprietary 900 MHz RF technology, combined with a unique ultrasound system that results in location accuracy to within 18 inches.
The InSites RTLS software solution is built to collect real-time location and condition sensing data from any type of RTLS technology, including active RFID, infrared/RF, passive RFID, ultrasound, Wi-Fi, and ZigBee, and manage them seamlessly and intuitively through the InSites interface. By leveraging this real-time data and InSites' applications, such as asset management, patient flow, or temperature monitoring applications, hospitals are able to achieve meaningful and measurable hard-dollar cost savings while improving patient satisfaction and patient care.
