Micro Air® Clean Air Systems has introduced a new energy savings control panel option for their entire line of dust collectors. The new Intelli-Touch(TM) Energy Savings Control Panel reduces energy consumption with a built-in variable frequency drive that automatically controls motor RPM based on CFM needed at the running static pressure. The Intelli-Touch(TM) also utilizes a soft start and ramp up of motor speed which eliminates sudden surges of power usage, further reducing energy requirements. All settings are controlled easily at the touchscreen.
All functions of the dust collector are continually monitored by Intelli-Touch(TM) with a built-in diagnostics feature that tracks pertinent data, allowing the dust collector to continually operate at maximum efficiency and providing additional benefits such as longer filter life, reduced compressed air usage, quieter operation with lower fan speeds, and elimination of external dampers and slide gates in ductwork.
Intelli-Touch(TM) offers the capability to change usage as additional capacity is required. Application-specific (plasma, laser, wood-working, etc.) set-up feature reduces installation time.
