Press release date: June 17, 2009

A line of fully insulated, fire-retardant UL94V-0 rated and RoHs compliant insulated terminals for creating safer appliance and instrument connections is available from ETCO Incorporated of Warwick, Rhode Island.

ETCO Insulated Terminals are constructed from a high temperature alloy and feature F-crimp connections within fire-retardant nylon insulators that can withstand 150°C. Creating safer connections for appliances and instruments, if there is a malfunction, the nylon insulator collapses on itself and safely holds until the equipment completes an automatic shutdown cycle.

A suitable replacement for heat shrink tubing in many applications, ETCO Insulated Terminals are available in straight and flag styles to mate with .110" x .030", .187" x .020", and .250" x .032" NEMA male tabs. Designed for application by automated wire processing equipment, they are offered in strip form and conform to UL and NEMA specifications.

ETCO Insulated Terminals are priced according to type, style, and quantity. Free samples and pricing are available upon request.
