Press release date: March 22, 2007

Neil Hoehle has been appointed Vice President - Operations for Inpro/Seal Company

March 22, 2007 -- Inpro/Seal Company, the Rock Island, IL, based manufacturer of bearing isolators, announces the appointment of Neil F. Hoehle to Vice President - Operations. The announcement was made by David C. Orlowski, President/CEO of the firm.

Hoehle has been with Inpro/Seal since 1981 where he has held a number of positions. Starting in the drafting department 25 years ago, he later moved into engineering and eventually become chief engineer. Most recently, he has spent the bulk of his time in their Research & Experimentation Department where he oversees product development.

He was has been instrumental in the firm's very active product development program and co-holds numerous patents. In addition, he has worked directly with international end users and distributors providing application, installation and training support.

In his new position, Hoehle will have direct responsibility for Inpro/Seal's day-to-day manufacturing, engineering and R &D operations and will continue to supervise product development.

A native of Wapello, Iowa, Hoehle attended the University of Iowa and graduated from Western Illinois University. He has taken advanced classes in administration, management, manufacturing, engineering distribution, product development, MIS, marketing and distributor relations.

Neil is very active in the Hydraulic Institute (www.pumps.org) and currently is Chairman of their Bearing Housing Committee which develops guidelines and standards for the design and application of bearing housings for pumps.

He has published white papers, authored numerous trade magazine articles and has been a featured guest speaker. Most recently, he presented at the 14th annual International Sealing Conference in Stuttgart, Germany, co-sponsored by the Institute of Machine Components of the University of Stuttgart.

According to David C. Orlowski, "When I first met Neil back in 1982, we were both in our early stages. He was a student at the University of Iowa seeking a summer job. We were a pump distributor with a repair shop business, working out of a small facility. Our patent on the bearing isolator was five years old and we only had a few designs, mainly for pumps."

Orlowski continued, "Over the next 25 years we have grown to become the world's number one manufacturer of bearing isolators, which are now applied to just about any kind of rotating equipment you can imagine. Instead of a few designs, we now maintain the largest of its kind data bank with over 58,000 specially engineered designs that allows us to ship product the same day as ordered. We operate out of the largest facility devoted solely to bearing isolator technology and have some three million bearing isolators in operation around the world."

Orlowski concluded, "Neil has been with us all the way. His contributions over the last 25 years have helped us attain and maintain our leadership position. His background, combined with his unique knowledge of rotating equipment, fluid handling and sealing on an application-by-application basis serves as an excellent foundation for his task of further strengthening Inpro/Seal's manufacturing and engineering operations. I cannot think of anyone else more qualified to become our Vice President - Operations. Moreover, in the 30+ year history of our company, Neil is the only person to hold a Vice President position."

About Inpro/Seal
Inpro/Seal Company is the originator and the world's number one manufacturer of bearing isolators, used to protect motor and pump bearings, machine tool spindles, turbines, fans, gear boxes, paper machine rolls and many other types of rotating equipment. Additional applications include the sealing, handling, processing, packing and storage of dry particulates, powders and bulk solids.

Of the almost three million bearing isolators delivered, most all continue to be in operation in process plants worldwide, where end users continue to report significantly reduced operating costs with increased productivity and reliability. Protected bearings have proven to run 150,000 hours (17 years) or more, eliminating the need for costly maintenance and repair. Documented cases show that a plant can more than double the mean-time-between failure (MTBF) and reduce maintenance costs by at least half, with users reporting an extremely high ROI.
