Innovative Companies to Present to Investors at 2011 World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioprocessing in Toronto



WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Biotechnology Industry Organization today announced the industrial biotechnology companies selected to present their technology development and business models to an elite audience of investors and analysts at BIO's 8th annual World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioprocessing.

The world's largest industrial biotechnology conference for business leaders, investors, academics and policymakers in biofuels, biobased products, renewable chemicals, synthetic biology, food ingredients and biomass returns to Toronto, May 8-11 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The event is coorganized by BIO, BIOTECanada and the Agri-Technology Commercialization Centre (ATCC), which is comprised of Soy 20/20, Ontario Agri-Food Technologies, Bioenterprise.

Company executives from emerging industrial biotechnology companies seeking investment and partnering opportunities will make formal 25-minute presentations on their new technologies, accomplishments, milestones, value proposition and business case.
