At the press conference, Friedbert Klefenz, President of Bosch Packaging Technology, will provide an overview of the company's business performance and strategy. Bosch is demonstrating its technological competence with new machines, systems and services at Interpack 2011 in Düsseldorf. Exhibits include the following:
Highlights for the Pharmaceutical Industry
o The new MLF 4000 series for filling and closing injection bottles offers an optimum solution for 100 percent in-process weight control (IPC) and ensures gentle transportation of containers.
o The PW 16500 H pure water generation system allows pharmaceutical manufacturers to produce between 400 and 16,500 liters of purified water per hour. The system completes Bosch's pure water generation portfolio in the pharmaceutical sector.
Highlights for the Food and Confectionery Industries
o The compact Intelligent Transport System (ITS) allows for gentle feeding of products to horizontal flow wrapping machines.
o The new seamless system for packaging of bar products, which offers optimized speeds and operation as well as perfectly balanced components.
o The new Sapal Starpac 600 HL produces airtight single-wrap die-fold packages for optimum protection of chocolate products.
