Ingen Technologies, Inc. announces the exclusive Oxyview(TM) distribution deal with Invacare Supply Group, Inc.

YUCAIPA, Calif., Sept. 25 / -- Ingen Technologies, Inc. , a medical device manufacturer, announced today that the Board of Directors approved the entry of Ingen into an exclusive distribution agreement with Invacare Supply Group, Inc. ("ISG"). ISG, a Massachusetts corporation, states that it has formalized a master distributor agreement with Ingen to exclusively distribute its innovative new oxygen flow meter, Oxyview(TM) for a term of up to 3 years. The territory includes North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

"We are very excited about the opportunity to distribute and help market Oxyview. This is very much in line with ISG's continuing efforts to bring innovation and high quality to its customers," says Doug Harper, General Manager of Invacare Supply Group.

Oxyview(TM) is the first oxygen flow meter that can validate flow rate nearest the patient or its destination where it matters the most. This device greatly differs from traditional flow meters in that it can be easily mounted "in-line" anywhere between the regulator and the patient in less than a minute and does not rely on gravity for its readings. With these special features, Oxyview(TM) is attractive to both patients and medical suppliers, whereas this safety device will prevent money spent on unnecessary customer service calls related to oxygen equipment usage, as well as provide peace of mind for the patient.

More than 8% of Americans suffer from various respiratory conditions and this problem translates into a large market for respiratory medical devices worldwide. As one of the major leaders in the respiratory care market, Ingen believes that ISG has proven to demonstrate the power and resources to market Oxyview(TM). The growth population of adults over 65 years of age in combination with better diagnosis in respiratory diseases, such as COPD, emphysema and bronchitis, along with increased life expectancy will help grow the non-asthma device market from $4B to over $6B by 2010.

Chris Wirth, COO of Ingen, states: "Oxyview(TM) will be a very strong competitor and participate in this growth because reliable oxygen therapy is critical to hundreds of millions of people worldwide. The company has made a major accomplishment in working with ISG as their sole exclusive distributor since ISG is already an established leading distributor of home health care products."

Thomas Neavitt, CFO of Ingen, adds: "ISG has a successful sales history and is focused in penetrating the respiratory and oxygen therapy markets with Oxyview(TM). With ISG's intentions to create respectable revenues through the sales and marketing of Oxyview(TM), this new business relationship has the potential to significantly increase earnings for Ingen Technologies over the next few years. We are pleased with ISG's expertise in opening the market for Oxyview; and our next new product, OxyAlert(TM) will already have an existing distribution market."
