Advance." theme, 2012 Conference at PACK EXPO will offer packaging and processing professionals actionable insight into trends and issues driving industry. Event will be held in conjunction with PACK EXPO International 2012, from October 28-31 in McCormick Place, Chicago. Keeping with customer-centric approach to delivering innovation, multiple conference sessions will be offered that address attendees' specific areas of interest.

Customer-Centric approach to content helps manufacturers Educate, Innovate and Advance

Reston, Va.-The 2012 Conference at PACK EXPO, held in conjunction with PACK EXPO International 2012 (October 28-31; McCormick Place, Chicago), will offer packaging and processing professionals actionable insight into the latest trends and issues driving the industry under the umbrella, "Educate. Innovate. Advance."

In keeping with the show's customer-centric approach to delivering innovation, owner and producer PMMI is partnering with leading associations from across the supply chain to provide conference sessions tailored to attendees' specific areas of interest. Partners include: · Alliance for Innovation and Operational Excellence (AIOE) · Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility (AIM) · Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP) · The Great Lakes and Midwest chapters of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) · International Society for Beverage Technologists (ISBT) · PMMI U · Reusable Packaging Association (RPA) · The Packaging Association (PAC)

Presenters will include executives from Bayer Consumer Care, ConAgra Foods, Estee Lauder Cosmetics, Ltd., General Mills, GlaxoSmithKline, Kraft, Nestlé and Pfizer.

In addition, the PACK EXPO Lecture Series will feature a spirited discussion between nationally renowned commentator and comedian Dennis Miller, and James Carville, political consultant and former advisor to President Bill Clinton. The two speakers will provide their views on the 2012 Elections and respond to audience questions on Sunday, October 28; at 5:15 p.m. Tickets for this special event will be sold separately from Conference session tickets or general registration, at a cost of $125 or $1,000 for a package of 10.

Registration for the Conference at PACK EXPO is available at Packexpo.com at a cost of $99 per session through October 8, 2012, when tickets increase to $125 per session; ticket price includes admission ot the PACK EXPO show floor.
