Indianapolis-Based PTS Makes CardioChek® Meter and Test Strips Available Over-the-Counter for the First Time at Meijer Stores
INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 26 // -- Polymer Technology Systems, Inc., a privately held company that delivers point-of-care diagnostics to the global health care market, announces today that the company's CardioChek analyzer and Cholesterol Test Strips are now available at all Meijer pharmacies. Meijer operates 176 stores located in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky, all with a full service pharmacy.
Meijer will carry the analyzer and accompanying PTS Panels(R) Total Cholesterol, HDL Cholesterol, and Triglycerides Test Strips. (Test strips are sold separately). This allows consumers to monitor their levels whenever they choose and in the privacy of their own home.

The CardioChek system is a hand-held analyzer used with PTS Panels Test Strips. The system monitors key health indicators related to heart disease, diabetes and other chronic conditions.
