bC India 2011 Features Extensive Supporting Program



The BAUMA CONEXPO SHOW in India - bC India, will feature an extensive program of co-located industry events. The Builders' Association of India (BAI), the Indian Earthmoving & Construction Industry Association Ltd. (IECIAL), the ASAPP Media Information Group and the Construction Federation of India (CFI) are among event organizers at the upcoming show's premiere which will take place from 8 to 11 February at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.

The technical program will kick off on Wednesday, 9 February, with the BAI's Top Buyers' Conference at the Trident Hotel, which is within a walking distance of the bC India's exhibition grounds. High-ranking visitors from the Indian building and construction industry are expected to attend the conference and leverage bC India as a platform for gathering information about the latest innovations in the sector. Participation in the conference is by invitation from BAI.

The educational offerings at bC India will continue on Thursday, 10 February with a number of seminars and workshops for the construction industry. IECIAL will present a broad-ranging program of topics at a conference at the Trident Hotel. The program will feature lectures on themes such as 'Key Infrastructure Projects in India: Implementation Status and Forthcoming Large Projects', 'Financing for Projects and Equipment', 'Ecological and Sustainable Infrastructure' and 'Emissions Norms for Construction Equipment Vehicles'. The speakers will include project managers and representatives from the industry and local authorities. The fee for international participants in the program is 100 US dollars. ASAPP Media Information Group will present the Equipment India Conference 2011 on Thursday, 10 February, at the Trident Hotel. The program will include lectures on the latest technologies, specific sessions on 'Maintenance' and 'Alternate Procurement Mechanisms' and a concluding panel discussion.

In addition, CFI will offer a series of seminars and panel discussions on the themes of 'Safety, Maintenance and Cost Reduction' on Thursday, 10 February. Participation in this safety workshop costs 55 US dollars.
