LAS VEGAS, Aug. 21 / -- InRob Ltd. ("InRob") (BULLETIN BOARD: IRBL) today announced that together with its partners they have completed the first production model of its latest UGV solution - the Robotic Caterpillar MTL 257B platform.
The team developed a dedicated robotic control system to convert Caterpillar's MTL 257B into an unmanned platform. The MTL is a compact multi- terrain, rubber-tracked machine designed for work in a broad range of applications and terrain conditions, including soft underfoot and slopes. This robotic version is ideally suited for a wide range of military, para-military, law enforcement, and civilian operations.
Now the production model is complete, InRob is conducting rigorous field tests to prove the MTL 257B meets the most stringent requirements of military specifications for equipment of this type.
