Imtra Hires Christopher Barnes as Southeast Sales Manager
Leading Marine Products Supplier Expands Presence In Key Market
New Bedford, Mass. - Imtra, the leading manufacturer and importer of quality marine products, announced today the appointment of its new Southeastern Sales Manager, Christopher Barnes. A member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers, Mr. Barnes was selected to represent the company in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, and lead its sales efforts with boat builders, dealers and service yards in the region.

Mr. Barnes brings six years of marine experience to Imtra. A 2007 Yacht Design program graduate of The Landing School of Boat Building and Design, his marine industry résumé includes a product and design engineer position at Scout Boats, a Cummins Mercruiser Diesel Design Draftsman Technician position, and project management work obtaining and maintaining government contracts with the GSA and U.S. Coast Guard. In addition to his degree from The Landing School, Mr. Barnes holds a BA in English from Hampden-Sydney College. Raised in the southeast, he is based in South Carolina where he has worked his entire professional career. Mr. Barnes is a member of The Carolina Yacht Club and, in his spare time, enjoys boating, fishing, cooking and travel.
