The expanded product database contains 17,000 product listings, thousands more than the previous web site. Improved search capability makes locating the right products easy and quick. With the simplified catalog navigation, three clicks take the user directly to detailed product listings, which include images of most items along with pricing. MSDS for products containing chemicals and Catalog Data Sheets in PDF format also are available on the site.
The new site also features the capability to do attribute searching. For instance, if searching for cartridge heaters, one could select particular attributes such as diameter, length, volt or watt to get a more specific search result. Attribute searching is available on a growing number of products including cartridge heaters, heater bands, nozzles and nozzle tips.
Online quick quote pages are now available for Cartridge Heaters, Heater Bands, Nozzles, Nozzle Tips, Screw Tips, R-Screws, Barrels, End Caps, Barrel Insulation, Variable Depth Thermocouples, Dual Tip Thermocouples, Fixed Depth Thermocouples, Cartridge Type Thermocouples, and Granulators.
For placing orders, a user-friendly shopping cart-type application has been added. A quick order page allows multiple item number and quantity entry.
The customer account interface allows customers to view the history of their previous orders and all items previously ordered. Customers can view and change billing and shipping addresses easily.
