New testers provide state-of-the-art troubleshooting functions required by security installers and system technicians to identify and locate errors for 100% network reliability
SAN DIEGO, CA--IDEAL Industries Networks US, the network testing division of IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC. (www.idealindustries.com), announced today that it will attend the International Security Conference West (ISC) trade show, the security industry's premier showcase for new technology, March 28-30, 2012, at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas. IDEAL will be unveiling a host of testing solutions designed to enable technicians to validate, troubleshoot and resolve challenges that cause slow network performance and downtime.
Announced just ahead of the opening of ISC, the IDEAL NaviTEK® II is the fastest, most cost-effective Ethernet Service and Cable Tester available to frontline network technicians. It is the first simple-to-use, handheld tester in its class to include IPv6, PoE, VLANs, Traceroute and advanced pin-by-pin wiremapping capabilities. With a large easy to read color screen, it is ready to tackle modern network challenges.
"As the video surveillance industry continues to migrate from analog CCTV to digital video and IP networks, there is a growing need for testing solutions with the latest capabilities including IPv6, PoE and VLANs now common in modern networks. It can be used to trace coax, RJ-45 and RJ-11 cables, plus any de-energized copper cable including speaker wires, alarm cables, and electrical wires.
The NaviTEK II, Test-Tone-Trace and other network testing devices will be on display at ISC in IDEAL booth 24131.
