ITW Automotive Finishing & ITW Ransburg offer a full line of training classes designed for all types of paint and application personnel. Classes are open to suppliers, vendors, customers and end users and are taught by experienced, field-trained professionals who know electrostatics as well as related fields. All classes will discuss safety and grounding as applicable to the equipment being presented.

All classes are held at the ITW Automotive Finishing & ITW Ransburg Training and Conference Center, 320 Phillips Ave., Toledo, OH. For prices, discount structures and general information pertaining to the classes, please contact the Training Department at 419/470-2357 or visit our website at www.itwransburg.com. Class size is limited and refunds are subject to a 15% cancellation fee if not requested within five days prior to the beginning of the class.

The training department can also conduct customized training classes at our facility or onsite at the customer's facility. These classes can be designed to meet specific training requirements. For more details, contact our Training Department at 419/470-2357.

The remaining 2006 Training Classes are as follows:

o Fundamentals of Electrostatics This two-day class presents the basics of atomization, electrostatics, paints, safety and equipment operation. Finishing problems and solutions will also be covered. Students will have the opportunity to observe an electrostatic applicator in operation. Students will also become familiar with and operate various pieces of test equipment.

August 16-17

o Turbodisk System Operation, Troubleshooting and Repair This 1-1/2 day class will cover operation, troubleshooting and repair of the Turbodisk rotary atomizer. The class will support equipment such as pneumatic panels, reciprocators and power supplies. Different fluid and speed regulation equipment used with the Turbodisk will also be covered. In addition, a preventative maintenance program will be outlined along with general operational safety policies. Students will have the opportunity to see a Turbodisk spray and gain an understanding of how various spray parameters affect the coating process.

June 14-15 & October 18-19

o Aerobell 33 System Operation, Troubleshooting and Repair This 1-1/2 day class will cover operation troubleshooting and repair of the Aerobell 33 rotary atomizer. The class will support equipment such as pneumatic panels, reciprocators and power supplies. Different fluid and speed regulation equipment used with the Aerobell 33 will also be covered. In addition, a preventative maintenance program will be outlined along with general operational safety policies. Students will completely rebuild an Aerobell 33 and also have the opportunity to see it spray to better understand how various spray parameters affect the coating process.

September 20-21

o No. 2 Process Handgun This two-day class offers a hands-on painting experience with the No. 2 Process Handgun. Students will learn about paint and part preparation as well as grounding and safety. Different finishing problems and solutions will be presented. Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair will also be covered.

July 11-12 & October 10-11
