ITT Names DeSilva to Lead Global Oil & Gas Business


Seneca Falls, N.Y., March 16, 2010 - ITT Industrial Process, a fluid company of ITT Corporation, today appointed Marc DeSilva business development director for ITT Oil & Gas and Global Project Management.

In his new role, DeSilva-who has nearly 30 years of experience in the pump industry-will be responsible for leading ITT's worldwide global product management, project management for the Oil & Gas market, and business development and strategic account agreements. DeSilva's team will also support worldwide sales and marketing operations. He will report to John Manna, vice president of Global Marketing for Industrial Process.

"ITT has a tremendous range of products and expertise that can benefit the worldwide Oil & Gas industry," said Manna. "With our recent reorganization, we're focusing all of that global expertise in one unit to better serve our customers. Marc's extensive experience will help us use these resources to expand our presence in the Oil & Gas marketplace."

Prior to joining ITT Corporation, DeSilva served as Flowserve's global director for API products. He also previously held sales, marketing, and project management positions at Flowserve, Ingersoll Dresser Pump, and Ingersoll Rand.

DeSilva received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada. He also earned his MBA from McGill University in Montreal.
