The clock is ticking: it's three weeks until IREC's 2012 Annual Meeting.

Each year, IREC gathers together some of the most well-known experts and thought leaders for industry updates and provocative discussion, in conjunction with the opening of Solar Power International September 10-13, also in Orlando.

Register for IREC's Annual Meeting

This year, we're honored to have Paula Mints, Director/Energy for Navigant Consulting and widely recognized as an industry expert on PV technologies and markets, who will open the meeting. Good friend and colleague, Adam Browning, Executive Director and co-founder of the Vote Solar Initiative, will give the closing remarks.

Joining Paula and Adam on the agenda:
· Jane Weissman, Executive Director, IREC, on IREC from 30K feet
· Joe Wiedman, Keyes, Fox & Wiedman, LLP, on regulatory updates
· Amanda Vanega, DSIRE, on policy and incentive trends
· Larry Sherwood, Sherwood Associates, on IREC's recently released U.S. Solar Market Trends Report
· Joe Sarubbi, IREC, on the Solar Instructor Training Network
· Pat Fox, Laure-Jeanne Davignon, IREC, on IREC's Credentialing Program
· Sky Stanfield, Keyes, Fox & Wiedman, LLP, on IREC's Solar Rooftop Permitting Report
· Laurel Varnado, Keyes, Fox & Wiedman, LLP, on the new Freeing the Grid

Agenda

And we'll recognize our 2012 Innovation and Special Recognition awardees.

"Part of what makes IREC's Annual Meetings so unique is how we connect people and share with them some of the best resources out there," said Laurel Varnado, Keyes, Fox & Wiedman, LLP.

As always, registration is free to IREC members in good standing (as of June 15, 2012), and $75 for non-IREC members. Not sure of your IREC membership? Contact Jane Pulaski for membership status. See you in Orlando.

Heartfelt thanks to our very generous 2012 sponsors who support IREC and have confidence in our work.

The Interstate Renewable Energy Council, Inc., (IREC) is a non-profit organization accelerating the use of renewable energy since 1982. IREC's programs and policies lead to easier, more affordable connection to the utility grid; fair credit for renewable energy produced; best practices for states, municipalities, utilities and industry; and quality assessment for the growing green workforce through the credentialing of trainers and training programs. www.irecusa.org
