IPC Webcast Offers Industry Management Insight Into Environmental Challenges Ahead



BANNOCKBURN, Ill, USA, April 2, 2009 - Providing a one-stop source for the practical information necessary in a difficult economic climate, IPC - Association Connecting Electronics Industries® announces the launch of the IPC Executive Webcast Series, "Surviving and Thriving in Tough Times - Information to Improve your Business and Cut Costs." Featuring a total of nine courses designed to cover challenges unique to management in these extraordinary times, the first hour-long segment, The Top Five Environmental Issues That Impact Your Business, will be April 23, 2009, 1:00 pm CT.

Presented by Ken Rivlin, partner in global environment practice and head of U.S. Environmental and Regulatory Law group at Allen and Overy, this program will focus on preparedness for the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulation and recent changes to the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (RoHS). Rivlin will offer executives working knowledge of current environmental regulations critical to ensuring their companies meet government compliance standards and avoid fines or the costly loss of customers.
