IPC Invites Industry, Academics To Submit Poster Abstracts For IPC Apex Expo In Las Vegas



BANNOCKBURN, Ill, USA, November 26, 2008 - IPC - Association Connecting Electronics Industries® invites researchers, academics, technical experts and industry leaders to submit abstracts for poster presentations at IPC APEX EXPO(TM), the industry's premier conference and exhibition for printed board design and manufacturing, electronics assembly and test, March 31-April 2, 2009, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center, Las Vegas. Poster presentations offer a stellar opportunity to gain significant visibility from key engineers, managers and executives in all segments of the electronic interconnection industry.

Expert poster presentations are being sought on all relevant electronics' topics. Submissions in the areas of new materials and environmental concerns are especially encouraged. An abstract of up to 300 words summarizing technical and previously unpublished, non-commercial work covering case histories, research and discoveries should be sent to Toya Richardson, IPC technical administrative assistant, at ToyaRichardson@ipc.org by January 30, 2009.

In addition to industry posters, U.S. and international colleges and universities with a strong focus on the electronics industry are invited to submit poster abstracts for the "all academic poster competition" to be held at the event.
