BANNOCKBURN, Ill., USA, - With six months left until opening day at IPC APEX EXPO(TM) 2011, only eight percent of IPC's targeted exhibit floor space remains available. According to Mary Mac Kinnon, IPC director of trade show sales, "It's clear that companies in the electronic interconnect industry are driving hard to get back to pre-recession figures ... and they know we offer a proven event to help them get there." IPC APEX EXPO 2011 will be held April 12-14, at Mandalay Bay Resort & Convention Center in Las Vegas.

Mac Kinnon credits the show's consistent value to attendees and exhibitors alike, "For a decade, our attendees and exhibitors have recognized that this event helps them achieve their goals. The exhibition, along with a premier technical conference and critical standards development meetings, provides attendees with a truly unique experience with unparalleled educational and networking opportunities. For exhibitors, our show is dynamic and consistently attracts a qualified international audience of industry executives in PCB manufacturing and electronics assembly worldwide."

New this year, the IPC APEX EXPO show floor will feature a Solar Assembly and Solar Living Pavilion. The pavilion will include multimedia displays on solar panel assembly, lamination, tabbing, stringing and cell manufacturing, and will demonstrate the solar assembly process. In addition, solar panels set up to power a typical family room will be on display.

Nearly 10,000 executives and engineers/managers representing original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), printed circuit board (PCB) companies and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) providers along with the industry's top suppliers are expected to be at IPC APEX EXPO 2011.
