Company will donate to charity on behalf of customers

Winnipeg, Canada, May 19th 2009 - INTEGRATED Engineering Software, a leading developer of hybrid simulation tools for electromagnetic, thermal and structural design analysis, has today announced the launch of a referral program to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The initiative will enable every INTEGRATED customer who refers a new customer to the company will have $150 donated to the charity of their choice.

"We wanted to reward our customers' loyalty and mark the occasion of our 25th anniversary by offering donations to worthy causes", commented Bruce Klimpke, Technical Director at INTEGRATED Engineering Software. "We hope that in doing so we can give something back to the communities that our customers live in or feel strongly about."

INTEGRATED Engineering Software entered the simulation software market with the launch of its ELECTRO program for 2D/RS field simulations. ELECTRO has since set the standard for electrostatic design software having been continually developed over the past 25 years, INTEGRATED has recently launched version 7 of the product. Since the company was launched INTEGRATED's portfolio of products, and the business itself, has grown significantly. In 1989, INTEGRATED launched its first 3D modeling package, COULOMB, now its 3D products are capable of handling simulations with many iterations, very quickly.

Klimpke sees the future as being bright, "Despite the current economic climate, companies will continue to invest in software for design simulation because it offers cost and development time reductions. As computers continue to add processing power by parallelization and software algorithms continue to shift the boundaries of what can be simulated, design engineers can create better products for less. In the spirit of continuous innovation, we plan to launch version 8 of our products later this year, which will include the capacity to simulate problems with a huge number of iterations more effectively. We view the next 25 years at INTEGRATED very positively indeed."

The referral promotion is effective from May 2009. INTEGRATED customers should speak to their sales representatives for more information about how to apply.

About INTEGRATED Engineering Software

INTEGRATED Engineering Software is a leading developer of hybrid simulation tools for electromagnetic, thermal and structural design analysis. Founded in 1984, INTEGRATED provides a complete line of fully integrated 2 and 3 dimensional simulation software. Easy to use, INTEGRATED's products allow engineers and scientists to design, simulate and optimize complex devices and systems via computer simulation thereby reducing costs and risks associated with physical prototyping, avoiding costly mistakes during manufacturing. It allows companies to reduce design time and costs, spend less money on expensive prototypes, improve product performance, decrease time to market and ultimately increase profitability. Integrated pioneered the creation of the BEM field solver 25 years ago, and today, no one else in the market offers such a variety of field solvers with the same software packages.

The company provides its expertise in the electromagnetic, electromechanical and electrothermal analysis software field to the industrial, automotive, medical, telecommunications, power and aerospace markets. Its clients include industry heavyweights such as Alcatel, Mannesmann, Tyco, Siemens, Carl Zeiss and ABB.
