As a global supplier of innovative motors, drives and controls, Intelligent Motion Systems (IMS) announces the opening of its Singapore office to better facilitate product sales and support in the Asia Pacific region. IMS products such as the MDrive - integrated brushless motor with onboard electronics -- deliver high value, quality and reliability, backed by worldwide support. These innovative products and their benefits are now more readily available to the Asia Pacific region with access to a local office.
Leadership of this new office will be the responsibility of IMS Asia Pacific Regional Sales Manager Lee Wan Loong. Mr. Lee's stated goals are to "establish IMS as an accomplished stepper control technology supplier in Asia Pacific, build a well-known brand and be identified as a premium brand of choice". Wan Loong is formally trained as a motion control engineer. To his position as IMS Asia Pacific Regional Sales Manager, Wan Loong brings 16 years experience in the automation industry, from automation business unit manager to regional sales director of the Asia Pacific distribution channel. Mr. Lee has worked for various MNC companies including: Sony Precision Engineering, Parker Hannifin Automation and CVT Machine Vision.
