June 28, 2006, Depew, NY, USA - The IMI Sensors Division of PCB Piezotronics, Inc. (PCB®) has named Dr. George Zusman Director of Product Development, overseeing all research and development of its industrial vibration monitoring instrumentation product lines.
With more than 30 years of experience in industrial vibration monitoring, Dr. Zusman was formerly Director of Engineering, and later, president, of Metrix Instruments, Co. /PMC-Beta. Prior to Metrix, he was president & C.E.O. of ViCont Ltd, where he was also responsible for all aspects of R&D, sales, and customer service. Dr. Zusman started his career as an R&D engineer at one of the leading universities in Moscow, Russia. Subsequently, he has held numerous R&D and engineering management positions. He holds about 20 patents and has authored nearly 100 technical publications. Dr. Zusman holds a doctorate degree in Electronics from Moscow Physics Engineering University, and a Sc.D. in Vibration Monitoring from Introscope Research Institute.
The IMI Sensors Division of PCB Piezotronics, Inc., specializes in the development, application and support of industrial vibration sensors, transmitters, electronic vibration switches, meters and accessories for machinery condition monitoring and predictive maintenance requirements.
