KAMIO RISC-based platform IEI's KAMIO RISC-based series represents the classical application of car infotainment. The IEI KAMIO RISC-based series provides powerful computing capability, embedded OS support, various transmission interfaces, and enhanced graphic processing speed in extreme compact size. With open platform, energy-saving and wireless networking support, the IEI KAMIO RISC-based series enables users to efficiently integrate with assorted peripherals.
CAN bus communication board IEI's CAN bus communication boards seamlessly integrate with in-vehicle mechanic sensors. By supporting the Controller Area Network 2.0 specification and the CANopen protocol, IEI's CAN bus communication cards can be easily integrated into network systems using the CAN standard. All of IEI's CAN communication cards include on-board optical isolation and advanced programmable transfer rate of up to 1Mbps.
VITO-350 The automobile surveillance is designed to accommodate ruggedized mechanical hard drives, which is capable of withstanding the constant shock and vibration of an in-vehicle environment. IEI's automobile surveillance devices support a wide operating temperature range as well as continuously monitor and capture event images of surroundings. The latest VITO-350 is designed with fanless and power-saving features. The VITO-350 built-in Intel® Pentium® M processor with high-performance, low-power embedded computing capability provides diverse transferring interfaces to complete an impressive array of connectivity options. The VITO-350 can also be applied on police vehicles to monitor patrol activities, real-time passenger information, bus or train schedule as well as to support fleet management, mobile communication, and vehicle tracking.
KAMIO Companion Modules The wireless communication applied on vehicle-PCs facilitates real-time mutual communication between maintenance workers and headquarters. A wide selection of modules enables users to design a system into a vehicle. IEI provides various companion modules for KAMIO series platforms, such as GPS (Global Positioning System) module. The 16-channel ANTARIS® 4 GPS module allows the KAMIO platform to get the current position precisely and provide fleet operators with real-time information of all vehicle locations. In addition, the latest IEI KAMIO companion modules features Bluetooth and WiFi communication technology to facilitate data communication for various electronic products from PDAs, cell phones, keyboards, mice and barcode readers.
