Company to Support Demands of Growing Customer Base While Helping

San JOSE, Calif., December 3, 2007 - IDT® (Integrated Device Technology, Inc.; NASDAQ: IDTI), a leading provider of essential mixed signal semiconductor solutions that enrich the digital media experience, today announced its commitment to the digital panel display market in support of its customers and partners who are likewise dedicated to this burgeoning market space. IDT expertise in serial, memory and interface technologies will combine together to provide customers with optimized, customized and power efficient design services for the digital panel display market.

Initially utilizing DisplayPort(TM) - the digital display interface standard from the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) - which defines a state-of-the-art digital audio/video interconnect for use between a computer and its display monitor or a computer and a home-theater system - IDT will focus its efforts on developing interface and controller solutions for next generation digital display devices. The company, which has a working silicon "proof-of-concept" DisplayPort device, is actively partnering with display customers and partners and is on target to deliver DisplayPort-compatible devices during first quarter 2008. The devices will support the IDT power-efficiency corporate initiative by incorporating advanced features to minimize power consumption while reducing total cost of ownership and thermal design complexity.

"The DisplayPort interface clearly has the potential to be the flat panel interface of the future. Companies with core digital media interface technology, like IDT, are critical to ensuring the success of this new standard," said Bill Lempesis from VESA. "We are happy to see that IDT is developing DisplayPort-compatible devices for the flat panel display market."

"Consumer demand for digital flat panel displays continues to rapidly expand and the DisplayPort standard is well on its way to becoming the primary display interface for the PC market," said Josh Newman, Intel Graphics Marketing Manager. "Intel is pleased to be working with companies like IDT and the DisplayPort community to help drive the advancement and adoption of DisplayPort technology."

"With DisplayPort poised to enable a multi-billion dollar market, there is a tremendous upside for IDT to enter this space. Not only do the technology delivery requirements of this market sector closely align with our current product introduction strategy and our expertise in serial, memory and interface technologies, it also fits into our corporate goal of helping enrich the explosion of digital media," said Ji Park, vice president and general manager of the IDT Digital Display Operation. "To date, many of our digital media customers and partners have announced their commitment to the DisplayPort market. We are committed to providing them the means to easily access the IDT expertise in technology, people and resources that they need to be successful in this emerging and growing market."

As part of the IDT commitment to DisplayPort, it has and continues to be an active member of the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA), supporting the organization's dedication to the development and promotion of open display and display interface standards. It is also working closely with its customers and partners to help them fully realize the true potential of the DisplayPort standard. IDT will also be participating in the upcoming VESA "Plugfest" in South San Francisco, CA on December 6- 7, 2007.
