Toronto, Canada - GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) is offering its ICP microphone preamplifier designed to amplify a low-level signal to line-level. It can be used with both pre-polarized and extremely polarized microphones. The microphone preamplifier is specifically used for multi-channel signal analysis setup with 1/2' pre-polarized condenser microphones, multi-channel sound power measurements and multi-channel machinery noise measurements.
GAO Tek Inc.'s ICP compatible microphone preamplifier, model 14604, is characterized by wide frequency range and low noise floor. Low output impedance and high output current allow it to drive very long microphone extension cables. The frequency response is 20Hz to 20kHz at a noise accuracy of ±0.2dB or 10Hz to 100kHz at ±0.5dB. Its maximum output voltage is 5V. This microphone preamplifier is easy to install and is used with a BNC connector. It is suited for acoustic engineers using analyzers which support Smart Transducer Interface IEEE P1451.4 with TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet).
