December 12, 2007 - IBS sponsored the Aberdeen Group's Manufacturing in the 21st Century Summit, which took place in Boston on December 4-5, 2007. The summit brought together leading manufacturers across the globe to share strategies for optimizing productivity and achieving better quality control.
Topics covered during the event included how manufacturers can utilize technology to streamline quality control, how technology takes lean manufacturing to the next level, and strategies for achieving zero defect manufacturing. Speakers included thought leaders from across the industry spectrum, who drew on their own experiences in the boardroom and on the shop floor to offer recommendations for driving more efficient production. In addition, analysts from research company The Aberdeen Group shared their own insights into the current manufacturing climate, derived from their research into the practices of best-in-class manufacturers.
