Hudson, MA (November 30, 2006) - Hypertronics Corporation, the interconnect solutions leader, today announced the appointment of Garry MacDonald as Vice President of Engineering and New Business Development. Garry comes to Hypertronics from AMETEK Power Instruments, in Wilmington, Massachusetts, where he held consecutive positions of Director of Marketing and Director of Engineering.
Garry will assume responsibility for Hypertronics' strategic marketing, new product development, application support, and marketing communication functions. As a key member of Hypertronics' executive team, Garry will develop and execute plans for both short-term and long-term business growth.
"Garry's extensive experience in the industry, demonstrated by an impressive track record of managing high-performance teams of engineering and marketing professionals, qualifies him to be an important addition to this organization," comments Vadim Radunsky, President - Hypertronics Corporation.

Garry received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. Garry and his family live in Central Massachusetts.
