Dennis Wierzbicki, President of Grundfos USA, has been elected to serve as Chairman of the Board, while George Harris, President & CEO of Hydro, Inc. has been elected to serve as HI President. Other HI officers include Michael S. Cropper, VP of Technical Affairs; John White, Jr., VP of Government & Regulatory Affairs; Bob Hendricks, HI VP of Member Services; John Kahren, HI VP of Knowledge & Education; and Robert K. Asdal, HI Executive Director and Secretary/Treasurer.

Parsippany, NJ, – The Hydraulic Institute (HI), the global authority on pumps and pumping systems, announced the 2014-2015 Board of Directors and Officers during its Annual meeting recently held in Phoenix, Arizona. The Board is primarily responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the Hydraulic Institute and providing organization oversight.
Dennis Wierzbicki, President, Grundfos USA, has been elected to serve as Chairman of the Board. George Harris, President & CEO, Hydro, Inc. has been elected to serve as HI President.
Other HI officers are Michael S. Cropper, Director, Product Development, Sulzer Pumps (US) Inc. who remains in his position as Vice President, Technical Affairs; John White, Jr., President & CEO, TACO, Inc. has been elected to serve as HI’s new Vice President, Government & Regulatory Affairs; Bob Hendricks, President, Industrial Pump Operations, Flowserve has been elected to serve as HI Vice President, Member Services; John Kahren, President, SPP Pumps, Inc. remains in his position as HI Vice President, Knowledge & Education. Robert K. Asdal, HI Executive Director, also continues to serve as Secretary/Treasurer for the Hydraulic Institute.
Additional Board members, serving terms of varying lengths, include:
