CHANGZHOU, China - HydraForce Hydraulic Systems (Changzhou) Co. Ltd. has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification for manufacturing hydraulic manifold systems, making it thethird HydraForce facility to be ISO 9001-certified. HydraForce plants in Lincolnshire, Illinois, U.S.A.and Birmingham, England, U.K. are already ISO-9001-certified.
"I am very pleased and proud to announce that our production facility in Changzhou, China has successfully passed its ISO 9001:2008 audit. Congratulations to plant manager, J.P. Chen, and his entire team in Changzhou and to all those HydraForce employees in Lincolnshire and Birmingham whose efforts made this monumental milestone a reality," said Jim Brizzolara, HydraForce President. "This is a 'triple crown' for HydraForce," he added.
The Changzhou plant, located about 120 miles west of Shanghai, opened for business in June 2011 and serves as the Asian Pacific headquarters for HydraForce. It produces hydraulic manifolds with cartridge valves that are sold to original equipment manufacturers in the agricultural, construction and material-handling industries of China, Korea, and Japan.
"This ISO 9001 certification assures that our plant in China makes products to the same internationally recognized quality standards as our plants in Birmingham, England, and Lincolnshire, Illinois," said Brizzolara. "When you source from HydraForce, you can depend on consistent quality across the globe," he added. HydraForce supports its operation in China with a Chinese-language web site, catalog, and i-Design hydraulic system design software that allows the user to design hydraulic circuits and schematics in the Chinese language and auto-translate into English, or design in English and translate into Chinese. Circuits can then be exported to Famic Technologies Inc. Automation Studio(TM) software for simulation and prototyping.
