SOUTHBRIDGE, MA (August 27, 2010) - Eric Pfeiffer of Westminster, MA has been named director of sales and marketing for Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions, a Hyde Group company based in Southbridge.
Pfeiffer, who joined the company as director of marketing in April 2009, will use his demonstrated expertise in industrial marketing and sales management to lead aggressive new business and sales growth initiatives for the company's expansive line of industrial knives and blades.
Before joining the Hyde Group, Pfeiffer held leadership positions in the Metal Products division of Simonds International. Over a fifteen-year span, he played a vital role in building the Simonds brand and expanding the firm's presence in industrial markets across North America.
"In a very short time, Eric has rebuilt the Hyde IBS website and other marketing assets, expanded our distributor network and worked with the IBS leadership team to put a new product development process in place," said Rob Scoble, President and Chief Operating Officer of Hyde IBS and its sister company, Hyde Tools, Inc. "In his new position, he will be expanding his sales responsibilities." Pfeiffer's promotion took effect August 16, 2010.
