Southbridge, MA (July 27, 2010) - When Isaac P. Hyde starting selling blades to the leather and shoe industries 135 years ago, never did he imagine all the places his blades would be used. Now customers can join in celebrating this historic anniversary milestone during Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions' (IBS) "What's Your App? 135th Anniversary Big Blade Blast!"
Simply by telling the company where and how they use Hyde blades, customers will be entered in a drawing to win 1 of 10 $135 American Express® Gift Cards. Participants can describe their applications and enter on line at hydeblades.com/entryform.php . Their submissions will be included in a random drawing announcing the winners to be held on December 10, 2010.
Hyde IBS is a leading producer of industrial knives and blades for a wide variety of markets and applications including food processing, paper, packaging and corrugated converting, abrasives converting, cloth and textile and leather, hose and tube, tire and rubber, metal slitting and in general industrial applications.
The contest runs from August 1, 2010 through December 6, 2010. Entries must be received at Hyde Tools, Inc. by midnight on December 6, 2010. One entry per person. All submissions become the property of Hyde Tools, Inc. Ten (10) winners will be drawn at random for entries submitted on-line or via mail on December 10, 2010. Decision of the judges is final.
