Press release date: August 28, 2009

This new release agent was specifically formulated to achieve three benefits:

o excellence in color dispersion
o ease of release and
o minimal build up on the forms.

Release Coating 7746 is the latest in a comprehensive line of concrete form release agents developed by Huron Technologies, Inc. Most manufacturers of colored concrete products focus on achieving the effective and predictable dispersion of color pigments. Natural looking color is critical. Clumping of color or undispersed pigments is can ruin a piece, triggering excessive scrap. Effective color dispersion is particularly important when creating manufactured stone. Release Coating 7746 has proven extremely effective in producing natural color patterns. Moreover, excellence in color dispersion has been achieved in both summer and winter conditions. Dry times and the concrete mixtures may vary in different seasons, but Release Coating 7746 has proven robust enough to handle this range of operating conditions. In addition, the product's support for ease of release and in minimizing build up on forms also benefit manufacturers. Product which releases easily prevents workplace injuries or strains. Minimizing build up means forms last longer and do not require frequent cleaning.

Release Agent 7746 is a water based product available in 5 gallon pails, 55 gallon drums or 275 gallon totes. Huron Technologies, Inc. develops and manufactures a wide range of release coatings for polyurethane, rubber and composites for off-the-shelf and custom applications.
