Huawei Receives Miercom Performance Verified Certification for Its Agile Switch at Interop Las Vegas

Lab test finds Huawei S12700 core switch fully programmable and SDN-ready
 LAS VEGAS– INTEROP - Huawei, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, today announced that its Agile S12700 Switch has received Miercom's Performance Verified Certification for its overall performance and resiliency.
The Huawei Agile S12700 switch series was evaluated by Miercom for Software-Defined Networking (SDN) programmable capability, performance, features and energy efficiency.

The Agile S12700 are core switches designed for next-generation campus networks meets new industry requirements, including: cloud computing, bring your own device (BYOD), SDN, internet of things (IoT), and big data-related analytics for business use.
Miercom lab testing also determined the Agile S12700 Switch:
• Demonstrated 100 percent line rate throughput with 384 x 10GE ports in full line rate throughput tests.
• Supported Protocol Oblivious Forwarding (POF).
•Â Showed resilient operation with fully loaded 384 10GE ports even after removing one of four switching fabric modules.
