Online catalog allows customers to easily search product information
LAKE FOREST, Ill., March 3, 2011 - Hospira, Inc. (NYSE: HSP), a global specialty pharmaceutical and medication delivery company, today launched a new online U.S. product catalog, available at Hospira.com/catalog. Developed with input from customers, the new website allows healthcare facilities and other medical care providers to search Hospira's more than 1,200 products in a variety of ways - alphabetically, by product name, list number, or therapeutic class.
The new user-friendly online resource enables customers to easily find detailed information about Hospira products, including specialty injectable drugs, intravenous sets, suction products, infusion pumps, other devices and services. It also includes detailed product information, such as photos, material safety data sheets, product labeling, package inserts and wholesaler product numbers.
"In designing the website, we focused on providing customers with access to a broad array of product information, while at the same time ensuring the ability to search for information is both simple and intuitive," said Thomas Moore, president, U.S., Hospira. Customers will also be able to use the website to request a call from a Hospira sales representative, e-mail product information to colleagues and export the entire catalog into a spreadsheet format for use in their hospital information systems.
