Hoover Materials Handling Group adds William (Bill) Underwood as Sales Manager for the Western US Region

Hoover has named William (Bill) Underwood as Sales Manager for the Western US Region. Bill is a graduate of Northwestern College and began working for Hoover in 1991. In 2003 Hoover decided to split the company in an agreement to sell off the poly drum and limited-use container lines to Mauser Germany. At that time Bill joined with the Mauser Germany group and managed the West coast and Midwest territories. While living in the Northwest, he was voted in as Vice President and then President of the Northwest Chemical Association based in Portland, Oregon. In January of 2008 he resigned his position with Mauser to join a private venture in the container industry as President and partner. After a recent visit to the Hoover Houston facility he was encouraged by the new leadership with Donald Young at the helm and subsequently accepted a position as Sales Manager for the Western Region. Bill's extensive history with Hoover and his knowledge of our customer's needs provides an excellent base from which to build future business.
