Hobart Brothers Appoints New General Manager


TROY, Ohio. November 13, 2006-Hobart Brothers recently promoted Dan Jackson to General Manager for Distribution Filler Metals. In this new role, Jackson will oversee Hobart Brothers' stick electrode and solid wire businesses.

Jackson has more than 15 years of financial, operational and supply chain experience, and previously served as Controller for Hobart Brothers' Distribution Filler metals. He earned a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University and an MBA from Miami (Ohio) University.
