Hitachi, Ltd. (NYSE:HIT/TSE:6501) today announced the following changes of directors in accordance with a resolution passed by a meeting of the Board of Directors held today.

[Effective April 1, 2011]

Takashi Kawamura

New Position: Chairman of the Board

New Position: Director

Current Position: Board Director (Chair)
