RWD Technologies Powers Personalized College Counseling and eLearning Portal
BALTIMORE, Dec. 4 -- RWD Technologies, LLC (RWD), a company that develops and implements organizational performance solutions, announced today the completion of ApplyWise's online college admission counseling program that helps high school students successfully navigate the college admissions process. ApplyWise is the first online college admissions counseling program that builds a personalized environment for students as they create and complete their own customized strategic plan for getting into college. With AppyWise, students can easily track their academic performance and engage in tutorials that address critical issues such as selecting the right colleges, essay writing and mastering college interviews. RWD successfully created an easy-to-navigate dashboard portal and developed interactive eLearning sessions.
ApplyWise leverages the comprehensive methodology developed by Dr. Katherine Cohen, who has helped thousands of students get into the colleges of their choice through her educational consulting company, IvyWise. In 2006, 90 percent of IvyWise students were admitted to one of their top two choice schools and 100 percent were admitted to one of their top three choice schools. By working with RWD to make the methodology available online, the newly launched ApplyWise makes Dr. Cohen's proven tactics and results accessible and affordable for all high school students, not just those who can afford a private counselor.

The ApplyWise portal developed by RWD gives parents their own dashboard interface, enabling automatic email updates to alert parents as the students proceed through lessons and create drafts of admissions documents, which parents can then read and edit.
