Hench Control, Inc. Partners with Industry Veterans to Head Up Business Development

HERCULES, CA (May 5th 2008) - Hench Control, Inc., the leader in energy management control systems, has partnered up with food processing industry veterans, Ron Bowen and Dale Parry. Mr. Bowen and Mr. Parry both bring substantial experience exclusively in food/beverage and food ingredients in the consumer, foodservice, and industrial ingredients sectors - both domestically and internationally. Both Bowen and Parry will jointly head up all business development activities for Hench Control, Inc.
Mr. Bowen has served in senior management positions in predominate companies within the food industry, including Procter & Gamble, where he served as a Brand Manager in the Foods Group. Mr. Bowen, as Senior Vice President for the $500 million Professional Markets Group of Van Den Bergh Foods, established and staffed the group to achieve a business strategy of profit improvement through increased market penetration, increased efficiencies and cost reductions. As President/Chief Executive Officer for Durkee Industrial Foods Group, Mr. Bowen increased the return on net assets more than five fold, increased cash flow by $10.8 million, significantly increased international market penetration, and recorded record profits. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics/ Political Science (with honors) from Southeast Missouri St. University and conducted graduate work in Law/Political Science at the University of Iowa.
Mr. Parry is also a veteran of the food industry. For most of his 40 year career, he directed all corporate activities to identify, evaluate, and integrate new businesses, products and services in Fortune 500 food companies, including, Del Monte Foods, United Brands, Hunt-Wesson Foods (Con-Agra), Basic American Foods, and Douwe Egberts Coffee Systems (Sara Lee Foods). On his entrepreneurial side, Mr. Parry co-founded and was CEO for "Gourmet Farms" natural/gourmet soups for the consumer market and "Real Apeel" all natural, banana-based frozen fruit dessert for the food service market. Mr. Parry holds a Masters degree in Management from Golden Gate University at San Francisco, B.S. in Marketing, and B.A. in Advertising at San Jose State University at San Jose, CA.
