Hella Receives OEM Awards in Asia-Pacific, USA

PLYMOUTH, Mich. - Hella KGaA Hueck & Co., a global tier-one supplier of automotive lighting and electronic equipment, has won three awards from two automotive manufacturers and one tractor manufacturer.

Hella Australia, based in Mentone, won the "Toyota Australia Excellence Award for Engineering" for its technical competence in lighting and for its high ranking in customer satisfaction.

Hella India Electronics, based in New Delhi, won the "Extraordinary Performance in Cost Sector" award from Japanese automaker Honda. The plant produces automotive horns, trumpet horns, actuators, flasher sensors, central-locking system control units and switches.

Also, Hella KGaA Hueck & Co., based in Lippstadt, Germany, won the "Achieving Excellence" award from American tractor manufacturer John Deere, for outstanding cooperation with its plant in Bruchsal, Germany. Hella supplies headlamps, work lamps, signal lamps and a variety of switches and relays on John Deere tractors.
