The U.S. National Committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) appointed Hanse's John Sexton as the Chief Delegate of the USNC delegation to the IEC/TC meeting of the Technical Committee 104: Environmental Conditions, Classification and Methods of Test. The meeting will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, June 12-16.

Allegan, MI June 3, 2006 -- The U.S. National Committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) announced that Hanse's John Sexton was appointed Chief Delegate of the USNC delegation to the IEC/TC meeting of the Technical Committee 104: Environmental Conditions, Classification and Methods of Test. The meeting will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, June 12-16.

The IEC was established 100 years ago in 1906 with Lord Kelvin elected as the first president. It is the leading global organization that prepares and publishes international standards for all electrical, electronic and related technologies. These serve as a basis for national standardization and as references when drafting international tenders and contracts.

John Sexton, has over 30 years experience in the design, manufacture, installation, and service of environmental test chambers worldwide. He has lectured and consulted on the use of nvironmental testing systems including highly accelerated life testing and stress screening.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology, was elected to the New York Academy of Sciences, and was Senior Member of the Instrument Society of America., and a member of the United States International Electrotechnical Committee's (IEC) Expert on the TC 50 WG 9 Climatics Committee.
