In December 2003, The European Union issued Directive 2002/95/EC on the Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in all equipment entering Europe.
Hanaya, Inc has worked very closely with Societée Général de Surveillance (SGS) to meet all our customer requirements.
As a result, all our hinges are now RoHS Compliant from housing and shafts to the bands and grease. We provide labels and test report on every shipment. It is important to notice that a change made to our material has not affected the performance of our hinges. As a matter of fact, we have taken this opportunity to improve our materials such as the grease which now has very long-lasting effect in the smooth performance of our hinges.
